Carrie Elizabeth Gentry was born in Fort Payne, Alabama. In high school she was the pit (auxiliary percussion) section leader in the marching band. She was also the student director in the choir. She was also involved in several academic clubs. She started Auburn in Fall of 2005 , where she is an Undeclared-Liberal Arts major with an undeclared minor in Spanish. At Auburn, she divides her time between classes, work at a local engineering firm, the Auburn Christian Student Center, volunteer activities, not sleeping, sleeping, eating, and (brace yourself) FOCUS practice. She sings Sky Tenor for Focus.
